Hi

Just after a bit of advice, I woke up this morning to a light brown discharge in my panty liner (it had soaked in). My legs were also quite swollen yesterday although not sure whether this was due to my socks being too tight! ( legs are fine this morning). I've also woken up with a pain just below my left rib but it feels more like a pain from sleeping awkwardly if you know what I mean.
Lastly I have had dull period like pain on and off for a couple of days, it's hardly noticeable and hasn't bothered me but in addition to what I have just mentioned I'm a bit concerned!

Is it worth a quick call to the labour ward to be on the safe side or will they tell me to bugger off??

Yes, call them and they won't tell you to bugger off. Good Luck!

Good luck. My labour started with exactly the symptoms you describe.

Good luck!

Do keep us informed, I love a live labour thread :)

Hmmm hopefully it's not a live labour thread ; )

Spoken to midwife been told to take a couple of paracetamol and have a bath! Got to call them back in an hour with an update, thanks for the replies x

All seems to have calmed down now. Midwife thinks its my body getting ready for labour. Does this mean I could go into labour early? Does anyone else have any experience of this?

This can go on for weeks so who knows!
