Heart palpitations!

I am 10 weeks pregnant, and for the last week or two at least, i have been feeling a definite change in my heart beat, its kind of like a real thud of a heart beat if that makes any sense! The kind of feeling you get if you are panicking.
I'd say i notice this at least 4 or 5 times a day maybe more.

Just googled and read that during pregnany your level of blood increases and would be common for a doctor to hear a heart murmer through a stethoscope.

So my question to any experts is, should i be able to feel it? How do i decide it is serious enough to go to the docs about?

Hi I got this during both pregnancies, I also got chest pain. It is just you blood flow increasing due to you having to support another person in your body. If you need your mind put at rest phone the mw in the morning for an advise call. I wouldnt worry too much t houg

Meant to say i don't recall noticing this in first pregnancy.

Thanks for reassurance.

I am reluctant to go to GP as i'm gonna be asking him for a fit to fly letter in a fortnight Blush and don't want to give him reason to say no!
Of course health comes first but ykwim, didn't want the fact that he may send me for tests put a stop to him giving permission to fly.
