Nosebleeds starting at 39 weeks?

Hi all,

I'm 39 weeks today, had a lovely pregnancy, no issues whatsoever, but today I've had 2 nosebleeds - I've never had one before!

Does this mean anything (could labour be coming on soon?!) and do I need to get checked out? I don't feel any different at all, no headaches, vision problems etc as I know nosebleeds can be linked to blood pressure. Throughout the pregnancy my bp has been 90/60.

Any ideas or has anyone else had this?

I'm also 39 weeks today!

I have had a few nosebleeds throughout my pregnancy, always in the middle of the night when I get up to go to the toilet, so must be linked to blood pressure? My blood pressure has been fine at every appointment and I have had a trouble free pregnancy thus far so I think it's just one of those things maybe?

If worried though best to give midwife a call

I'm 40&4. Nosebleeds throughout pregnancy. Doctor said it was due to blood pressure changes and increased volume of blood. I can tell you it hasn't started labour for me!

I´m 40+1, have had nosebleed throughout pregnancy and my doctor said it is perfectly normal. She said happens because of the change in hormones and increased blood volume and if there is no dizziness with it all should be fine.
