Does anyone know what I should b pushing for and is it the gp or mw I need to see for it to happen? T.i.a.

Congratulations. It can be really stressful in the early days of a pregnancy after mcs. As you've had several miscarriages some Early Pregnancy Units let you self-refer for early reassurance scans. For example, in London Homerton lets you self-refer if you've had a MC before (along with a load of others). I found it very reassuring Here's the list: www.earlypregnancy.org.uk/FindUsMap.asp

Thank you my only worry is its too early for a scan to show anything and I will worry more think I won't stop worrying whatever anyway x

I would see the GP (and maybe be a little pushy!). UCLH is another hospital with a walk-in early ultrasound unit. They allow you to self-refer for an early reassurance scan if you have miscarried before, but not until you are at least 6 weeks (I think), preferably 7 weeks.

Congratulations x

Good luck this time. I know that a scan will definitely show at 6 weeks so you could ring and ask if there's an EPU near you.

There is one at the hospital where I am being referred to so think I will contact them next week can't help thinking I have no symptoms other than a little morning sickness and that is worrying me too thanks for your advice x
