I know this is in the wrong section, but I find the woman on the pregnancy topics helpful. Plus other sections aren't used as much.

Please don't judge me.

Me and my partner REALLY want a child. I'm 18, he's 25. We've had 3 losses 23, 7 & 7 weeks all last year, and have testing march 4th.

I'm in college until May next year and he's setting up a joinery business, so we aren't stable yet, but have alot of baby stuff due to the loss of our little boy including cot. We know where we are going to live which is hopefully getting built this year.

Anyway we want a child around next September, I'll be 20 then. My 3 pregnancies took me 3months to concieve so I was wondering when should I stop taking the pill? I'm not good with dates. Earliest we want a child is next June. Sorry if I sound snotty, we just really want a family.

Sorry to hear about your little boy and other losses.

It would prob be best if you keep taking your pill until Christmas, then if you do manage to conceive straightaway, your baby will be born in the Sept. I would prob wait until you have both at least finished your studies/training and have jobs & somewhere to live first though - you are still very young so don't have time pressures in terms of your fertility etc.

That's what we are doing, wouldn't stop taking the pill until my partner has a stable job and we have a house. I thought I'd stop taking it around November/December, thank you :)

I conceived in November and baby due early August.

If you can possibly withhold yourselves or consider using condoms I would come off pill slightly earlier and let it work out your system. Whilst you can fall straight away with me it took a good few months after coming off to conceive.

Good luck and sorry to hear of your losses.

Thank you Sparkle.

My little boy was due early August, but came in April. I think i conceived him early november.

I was thinking of coming of a month or two earlier, it makes sense letting my body go back to normal (whilst using condoms). Thank you for your advice :)
