I am soooo hungry all the time, when I briefly stop eating it's only to plan what to eat next. Is this normal? I didn't feel at all like this in the first or second trimester.

Well if you didn't feel like this in the first and second trimesters you are probably just catching up Grin

Joking aside, don't sweat it. I imagine your baby is putting on its pre-birth layer of fat (babies are very skinny and scrawny up to this point and need to gain weight at the end). I'm hungry too (38 weeks) and am ecstatic that the baby has now dropped down as my stomach finally has room for more than a cracker!

Yes me too, 32+4. But this is dc2 so I know I need to rein myself in a bit. That last half a stone took quite some shifting first time around. I try to have plenty of fruit etc in the house and at least alternate that as a snack with the much more desirable cake! Some days are more successful than others.

I was always told that in the 3rd trimester there would only be enough room in your tummy for small, light meals. Not so with me. I can eat my own weight in a single sitting, and baby hasn't even dropped yet. Plump 'em up is what I say! Once I get my 5 fruits/veg a day, I feel justified in eating whatever the hell I like.

Today I have had...

Two brioches
Apple juice
Plum

Half a French stick with butter and jam
Cup of tea

Two oranges
Two mini chocolate bars
Glass of milk

Pear
Three chocolates
Cup of tea

Two apples

Beef stew with rest of French stick
Large pot of yogurt

Next is either malt loaf or an avocado. Or both. Then dinner. Then a snack, then supper.

Hmm. Tomorrow I'll try not to be so bread based in the morning. Maybe that's why I was hungry all day.

Me too. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and cannot stop eating. Today I've had:

1/3 French stick with butter and jam
Apple
Boiled Egg
Small bowl of cereal

2x bags of mini ginger bread men

Jacket spud with cheese and large salad

Handful of grapes

Quorn chicken burger
Packet of crisps
Wispa
3 biscuits

And there will probably be 2 Weetabix before I go to bed. If I don't, I wake up at 2am starving.

I saw the MW on Friday and she said baby was still small!!
