Had 2 500mg tablets yesterday in 4 halves throughout the day and now convinced baby hasn't moved since. Am 21 + 4 and being paranoid!

You are allowed paracetamol in pregnancy as long as you don't exceed the recommended dose.

My understanding is that at 21 weeks movement is not yet regular as you're still in the catchment for feeling the baby move for the first time (16-22 weeks). Have you been having regular movement at the same times every day for the last few weeks? I think it's normal to go a few days without feeling baby in the early stages - it depends where they are laid :-)

But call your midwife if you can't settle. You know you're body best. Hope you feel movement soon!

Just saw my midwife the other day and we had a conversation about paracetamol. She said that as long as you don't take more than the normal recommended dose, it's safe to take throughout the pregnancy.

I didn't really feel movement in my last pregnancy until 25+ weeks, I think everyone is different so don't let it worry you too much. I agree with elderberry, defo see your midwife if you're concerned, it's part of their job to reassure you.

Try drinking something icy cold and laying on your side for a while. That used to induce a wriggle from ds if I was ever worried.

Paracetamol in up to the reccomended dosage is fine.

If you're really concerned you can call your mw and she will reassure you.
