Took a test just to make sure negative and blow me it's a positive!!!!! Now have brown spotting, seeing early pregnancy assessment unit tomorrow but very very stressed as going for ivf on 26/3/13 as been trying for 2nd baby for 2 years! I can't get happy as unsure what's happening :-(. Any advise ladies? X

Hi, something like this happened to me last year. It turned out to be the residual pregnancy hormone still in the system, not a new pregnancy. Good luck with your appointment.

Fingers crossed that the baby is fine! Could have just been a haematoma unrelated to baby! My friend had it and her baby was absolutely fine. I still have brown spotting and had early scan showed everyone was fine just one of those things they said.

On the other hand could be residual hormones although wouldn't think they could increase after a mc.

Hope it's good news tomorrow let us know! x
