confused about scan!! please help

I went for an early scan 10 days ago n all they could see was a little dot that they said I looked about 2/3 weeks I went back today n they said I was measuring at 5 weeks 6 days tho I only had sex 4 weeks ago is this normal?

Yes that's normal. Pregnancy is calculated starting from the first day of your last period, not from the day you had sex.

The age is measured from the first day of your last period so if you started your period on 1st Jan, had sex/conceived on 14th Jan, you would be classed as 4 weeks pregnant by 28th Jan. does that help?

They will always be a couple of weeks ahead of you dates wise - the dates run from about 2 weeks before you conceive believe it or not (it usually goes from the date of your last period and your scan dates reflect that). If their scan suggests your about 5+6 and you had sex 4 weeks ago, that actually sounds about right!
