Thinking of upgrading our much loved mini one for a countryman when DS arrives in July. Somewhat confused about how babyseat friendly they are and which seat to buy. Any recommendations / warnings greatly appreciated Smile

Ooo very interesting. We still have our mini (baby due in April) but we did look at Countrymans... tbh we thought the boot wasnt much bigger than the normal mini one - perhaps a bit but not by a staggering amount.

If its any help we bought a Aston car seat from Mamas and Papas and a Mamas and Papas Urbo. The car seat has an isofix base (Im sure Countrymans have isofix) and fits into the frame of the pushchair. We bought the Urbo as its one of the only travel systems that can be used from birth because it lies flat up to toddler age AND fits into the boot of a mini (and I suspect it might take up most of the boot in a Countryman too...).

There are a few discussions on MN under the product reviews section and there is a mini forum that might be of help with other suggestions (I found the reccomendation for the Urbo on the mini forum).

Best of luck, its really hard to part with a mini!

Thanks so much for this. It's been a circle of confusion and this gives me a decent place to startGrin
