second baby nerves!

i am 7 weeks pregnant with my second baby, my son is 17 months.
my first labour was bad (23 hours and ending in emergency c sect)
We tried for this baby but now im a bag of nerves! This is probably got lots to do with first trimester hormones dont you think? Emotions seem all over the place and the sickness is kicking in too.. am i normal do you think?! x

Of course you are. Ds was 12months when I fell pregnant with dd. I spent the entire pregnancy excited about the baby and extremely anxious as to whether giving my gorgeous boy a sibling was a positive thing for him.

Everything will work out.

Hi, am 4 weeks (found out this arvo) with number 2 and have 17m ds. Had exactly same thought even though we planned and want the baby it is scary to wonder how you can give them the same love and attention as number 1 but am sure it will work out, just think about when they are old enough to play together. My fried has a DD 25m and a DS10m and they have been playing games together for about 3 months and is so lovely to see the bond forming.
