How accurate are Clearblue Digital poas

Hi, there, faintly tested positive on wednesday, using a cheap £1 test and on thursday using one from the pharmacy.

Would really like to make sure using a digital test, clarification really.
Have any of you lovely ladies tried the digital clearblue, the one which tells you how many weeks you are?

Was it accurate, and was it right with how many wks along you were?
And will it come up 'pregnant' if i'm still coming up faint lines on normal tests?

Don't want to waste money if they are no good!

I used the clear blue digital to check my cheapie which only gave a faint line (which seems to be their way). It worked and was nice reassurance.

If it says yes - you are almost definitely pregnant.

If it says no - you might be pregnant but are probably not.

This applies to all makes.

False positives are very very very very rare. False negatives do exist.

I had a faint line on a cheapie, so bought a clearblue digital and it told me I was 2-3 weeks pregnant. So yes, worked for me.

I had a feint line on a cheapie, did a first response early and a clear blue digital, both came out negative. My negative baby should appear in about 5 weeks :)

I has faint lines on (a few!) Internet cheapies and a couple of First Response but I waited a few days until I used the clear blue with conception indicator. It was right for dates.

I did 4 of the clearblue with the conception indicator. It was first positive at 11 days post conception, and read 1-2 weeks, which was correct. I did another a week later at 18 days post conception, expecting 2-3 weeks, it was still at 1-2 weeks, which was wrong, and freaked me out big style. I did another 2 days after that which read correctly at 2-3 weeks. I did the last one at 24 days after conception and it read 3+ weeks which was correct. I had ivf so 100% sure of my dates.

I did 3 cheap ones and got positives, and then 2 digital ones and both were negative. I was pregnant just really early

I had a box of these. One digital and one regular stick. The box seemed to imply the digital one was more likely to give you an accurate result - I wondered if this was because there's no trying to work out if you are imaging a really faint line that is there. Anyway I did get a 'pregnant' result after a vague line test. I don't know how accurate the wees are because I haven't had a dating scan yet.

Basically though, I think the best thing to do is wait a few days, since if you are pg your hcg levels will get higher and the result will be clearer.

For the record, the cheapo tests came up positive first for me, I had faint lines on eBay cheapies at day 9, first response was positive on day 10, and clearblue line test and digital on day 11. I wasn't obsessed at all, oh no.

Clear blue digital was accurate on dates for me! Told me 3+ and was spot on. My due date has remained the same throughout 4 scans I've had.

Mine as wrong with dates, suggested I was further along than I was but I was more interested in the 'pregnant' bit so it didn't bother me :)

I've started to bleed so i guess u won't need to now

I don't want to give you false hope, but I bled the day after my positive test for a couple of days. Not heavily but red blood. I had my perfectly healthy dd a couple of weeks ago, so while bleeding is always a worry, things can still be ok.

Hello, I'm a first timer! Wanting some reassurance... my last period date was 29th Dec, it was late - but I think it arrived very lightly on the 8th Feb. feeling really ill so done a test and it says PREGNANT 2-3 WEEKS. If my last period was 29th Dec it should be further on than that as I will have ovulated 16th Jan (now 25th Feb) I also didn't have sex for 2 weeks which was 1st - 16th Feb, which is when the text said I conceived. Confused!

You could easily have ovulated late k8gry. What makes you think you ovulated on the 16th? Is your cycle usually regular? Also, these conception indicators are not very accurate. The important thing is you're pregnant, congratulations! If you speak to your gp or midwife you may get an early scan based on the bleeding, but it may just have been implantation bleeding, which would fit with what the stick is telling you. You know you have to add on 2 weeks to whatever the stick says? So if it says 2-3 weeks, it means you're 4-5 weeks pregnant as dated from your last period. I know that still doesn't fit with your dates but suspect you just ovulated late.
