Really want a sprung mattress as we had a foam one with DS1 and it was just awful. He went into a single bed when he was two, and will probably do the same with this one, so it won't be being used for that long (although we're not using a moses basket or crib, so it will be used from newborn).

The choice is between the Vyssa Vinka which is £40 and the Vyssa Vackert at £60. The only difference as far as i can tell is the price and the Vackert is pocket sprung (as opposed to just sprung) and has a velour cover.

We'll also be getting a couple of clevamamma waterproof sheets too.

Any experience? Or can you recommend another one for under £60?

We have the £60 one for our 23 month olds junior bed. Bought it purely because it felt comfy in the shop and is meant to be longer lasting than the other one. We have had it for 2 months now and no complaints so far.

We bought this for dd two months ago and she seems very happy with it. Gone from a foam mattress to this one as dc2 is going in our original cot. We did get an extra 10% off this price but matress seems great for dd who is two so far.
