Bleeding after sex in early pregnancy

Hi, I am between 6-8 weeks pregnant, not sure due to irregular periods (pcos). Had sex this morning (gentle I will add Grin) but have had a few episodes of brown stained discharge since. No pain and only when I wipe. Anyone else had this and if so were things ok?? I worry a lot as I have had several miscarriages and most of them started with a brown loss though earlier on. Thanks to anyone that can offer any experience

Yep, I had this following sex at 6-7wks. Had to wait about 5 days for an early scan and bled lightly on and off for a week or so. They found a cyst on one of my ovaries that they thought might've caused the bleed though it had dispersed by my 20wk scan.Otherwise, I'd have had an op. post-natally.
Anyway, 2.7yo DD is currently sat next to me in bed 'reading' her book - it ended well:-) Try not to worry.

I'd definitely get it checked it out. I had a bleed after sex (slightly more than just brown discharge) and went to doc. I had a scan which showed I had low-lying placenta, and was advised no sex (!) or heavy lifting or strenuous exercise till birth or till placenta had moved. Fortunately by 32 weeks the placenta had moved away from the cervix so I was able to give birth without a C-section. Oh yeah and we were allowed to have sex again (only 22 weeks without, poor DH!). And DS was fine, but if I hadn't known I could have been putting myself and him at risk. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about, but good to get reassurance.

I agree with AlohaMama.. Its most likely nothing to be worried about, but if it is a low lying placenta you shouldn't be having sex so I would get it checked out.

Hope it all works out for the best. I had spotting around the same time as you and it was such a tough time, hope it passes soon Thanks

Totally normal, don't worry yourself :)
