Hobbit feet

I'm 39 weeks and have suddenly grown myself a lovely pair of hobbit feet! They are so swollen I can't fit into shoes (only my wellies) and my ankle bone has vanished! Checked with the midwife and all is fine, it's just water retention type stuff but just wondered how you cope? I've tried putting them up but to be honest it seems to make little difference, plus, I already have a dc so have to get on with life! Not too worried as, at 39 weeks, the worst case would be another 3 weeks of this but just wondered if anybody had any tips? Hands keep threatening to go the same way but so far I've not had to remove my rings!

You have my sympathy I was the same with DS I couldn't fit my feet into DHs Wellies without taking my socks off and he is 4 sizes bigger than me!
Not a lot if help but feet up, lots of water sounds of but more water helps you flush it a bit.
Get checked over by midwife to make sure it's not a symptom of something else.
Good luck with your pregnancy x

Flip flops. I lived in them when I swelled up (turned out to be preeclampsia but I was swollen for weeks before any other symptoms appeared). Plus they keep you nice and cool!

Oh no. Although when I read your thread title I thought you were going to say you'd started sprouting hair all over your feet! :D
