Cramping at 38wks

Having sort-of-inner thigh cramping. It's not inner-inner (on the bits of my thigh facing each other) but maybe at 45 degrees anterior to that (does that make sense? So not on the front of my thigh, or the bit at 90 degrees to the front, but half-way inbetween).. Getting random sporadic cramps which really hurt.

Also getting annoying period-like cramps above my hip bones at the back which last for a few seconds and then go again.

Just baby moving around or the start of something? Have been having BH like crazy for the last week, but it's only today I've been having the above... Do I need to call anyone? Baby has been head down since about conception I think (at least from 28 wks ;) ), wasn't engaged last week (but is #2 and I understand that they don't engage until labour normally anyway...).

Should prob add that I was induced for #1 so have no idea what 'normal' labour progression is like...

Sounds like it could be the start of labour to me, v similar to my first labour... I'd get some sleep if you can.
