Took a flying tumble at 33 wks

So, stupidly, I went flying today running for the train. Landed on my knee/hip/little finger, all of which are sore and bruised (esp my finger -owwww!). It really shook me up, but I've felt the baby moving, etc, since then. So I think I and baby are ok. Or should I be worried? I read some scary things online re placental abruption and amniotic sacs ripping due to falls...

There is 99.99% chance you will have hurt nothing more than your pride. Falling is really not on once you are over 7 really is it. I hope our sore bits and not sore for long.

Under the circumstances I might call NHS 24 or the OOH Dr just to chat through your concerns. They might ask you to go in for some monitoring.

Sometimes Dr Google is not your friend also had myself diagnosed with all sorts

Thanks for the reassurance. Plenty of baby movement between last night and now and while I'm sore from where I fell (and it's f*ing made my spd flare up again, after it's been fine for ages) no abdominal pain or bleeding or anything like that. I think we're ok!
