I am 22 weeks and have had dull period like cramps for a couple of days.. not horrific pain but definitely uncomfortable... Is this normal?

Hi fairy

I had a lot of such cramps earlier on , around 14-20 weeks. It can be your ligaments stretching and or your uterus contracting (it is normal for it to contract throughout). If you are concerned call the midwife. I did :) it will ease your mind. If you get any bleeding at all or it is really painful then call doctor/go to antenatal unit. The advice I have had is that you will know when something feels too painful or 'wrong'.

Xx

I'd see your gp or midwife ASAP, not an emergency, but soon. It could be a UTI which is important to treat.

My vote would be ligament pain or UTI.

But as always a phone call to a health professional will always put your mind at ease.

I also had this at around 22 weeks. I put it down to stretching. Didn't see midwife or doc and it went away after a few days. Now 31 weeks :) but might be worth checking its not a uti

I'm about the same as you and getting similar. Nothing wrong with getting checked out just to be sure but sounds normal.
