Positive or Negative???

Hi all,

Last Thursday when I was a day late for period I took a tesco test which showed faint positive. At lunchtime on the same day I did a clear blue digital which also was positive and 1-2 weeks. I had my copper coil out two weeks before I was due on. I dropped a fmu sample in to docs on Friday lunchtime and have just had the results back which say negative. Now not sure which to believe! I did leave docs sample in the car all morning on Friday as couldn't get to docs early.

Has ayone else had a negative from gp and still been pregnant?

Possible GP one was negative if it was early on and the urine was dilute.I would do another test,,especially if you've missed a period and there is a possibility you could be pregnant.I just did cheapo ones from Poundland and a week after missed period they were positive.

They say you can get false negatives but not false positives... I did 5 tests (yeah yeah, I'm a bit crazy haha), and the first 3 were so faint I could barely see them... I'm now 22 weeks! Go back to the doc in a week, I think it will be a big fat +. Good luck whichever way you are hoping for. :D

Pregnant. When I went to my gp, she said the tests I had bought (first response) were better than the ones they had at the docs, so there was no point doing another one.
Ditto on the fact that you can't get a false positive- if the hormone is there then it picks it up!

can be v confusing... happened to me on two different occasions! Each time I took 2 clear blue digital tests all positive... then a week or so later I started bleeding- went to doctors and had negative tests! Was told both times that I couldn't have been pregnant in the first place- so I guess false positives can happen! Would wait and see.... maybe do another test in a week.... good luck

Thanks everyone - am going to buy another test today and see what happens - hoping it's positive but guess I'll just have to wait and see x

Well another clear blue and another positive this time 2-3 weeks so think these are probably right now just gotta ring gp's and sort it out with them!
