TMI but shaved down there and noticed something a bit strange?!

Okay - am 27 weeks pregnant with DC2. I think of myself as a groomed woman but hadn't waxed bikini line for ages so bought a bikinin trimmer saver to tidy self up. When I'd done so I noticed a sort of bulge above my right labia majora and then noticed that my right labia majora actually looked larger than the left side. I can't find an obvious lump, it sort of looks like I've drooped on one side! I've not got a very larg LM so it looks swollen - but it doens't hurt - is this a side effect of pregnancy? Anyone? Bit worried but then so much is changing about my body right now I don't know where to start!

Welcome to the third trimester! Very normal, it all swells and looks odd, mention to midwife if you're worried but I think its fine!

This is very common and normal. There is a lot more blood flow to this area hence the swollen appearance....I have to say that it makes sex more enjoyable lol :) if you are worried though speak ti your midwife x

It wasn't until I had had dd and things suddenly appeared to shrink iyswim, that I realised quite how swollen things had become whilst pregnant. You can probably notch it up as yet another irritating niggle which childbirth will cure nicely
