Feel like I should be on that program "secretly pregnant"

I'm 10 weeks on Thursday ish ( waiting till scan to know for def ) it's our 4th child oh my god it's a shock my kids are 8, 5 , 4. Iv only told my closest friend and one girl at work but I just carnt tell any one else I get so nervous and scared. But I'm not sure why but I'm already getting big my trousers are tight and I'm already in maternity clothes I'm not sure if its because I'm already a big girl size 16-18 or if its because it my 4th. Either way its becoming harder to hide I need advice I think as I know ppl will be dispointed in my or upset my mums going to kill me I know she will

Have heard others say they showed earlier with each pregnancy...

Why are you concerned with what people (your mum in particular) will say?

Why do you think your mum will be upset? Isn't she happy with your other children?

Why would your mum kill you? If you've got an 8 year old I presume you are a grown up able to decide how many children you have yourself?

Tell 'em that 4 is easier than 3 and soooo much more fun, and then ignore them! 4 is a brilliant number, and you don't need other people's permission!

Are you and your partner happy that you are pregnant?
If so, then sod everyone else!

It's your life, it's your baby, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks! Walk away if anyone says anything other than congratulations, you don't have to engage in a conversation justifying your baby to your Mum or anyone else.

I've also heard a lot of people say you show earlier with subsequent pregnancies, as the muscles are already stretched.

Becky I could have wrote this post I'm exactly the same position. I'm 10 weeks today with number 4 my youngest is 3 and we are in shock I really didn't want anymore children and neither does my dh and we haven't told anyone yet my mum will be fine with it though but it's extremely bad timing as my father is very ill at the moment and I don't know how to tell them I'm pg when he is so ill. I just want to curl up and hope it goes away I know this sounds terrible and I feel terrible thinking this way.dh parents always have too much to say for themselves and with everyone of our kids did the whole omg not pg again hope your not having anymore etc ...but what makes me mad with them is they have never baby sat, taken them out,spent any time whatsoever with my kids so I don't give a dam what they say. But I do understand a lot of people seem to see having more than 2 kids a bad thing or out of the norm. I know I will come to terms soon with this pg it's just hard if you have a lot going on in your life at the time when its unexpected. Hope things work out for you x

Me too, 14+2 with Dc3 and have not told anyone other than partners mum (well I didn't tell her i got emotional n she guessed) and 3 close friends. I darent tell my parents too worried and scared. My kids are 5 this year and 2 in a couple of weeks. It's nerve wrecking, can totally sympathise xx

I never expected to have any other kids and had got rid of every think we need to buy every think plus bunk beds and 7 seater it's so scary
My dh dosnt work he lost his job and just carnt find another so it's just me working :( my mum has been worried since I had dd3 she just thinks I had to many kids so another is a def no no she will be so dispointed in me I jut know it I'm scared to tell her

Thank you hunni we are in same boat I have got rid of everything the thought of starting again is daunting but we are slowly starting to come to terms with it now but like my dh said at the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks its our life they can like it or lump it xx

Im 10 Wks with my 6th baby. I have 2children in their 20's. 11yr,8yrs&4yrs. Only dp&my best friend know.

Im normally a size8 & short. With each pregnancy I've shown earlier&got bigger. I can't hide it much longer, i can barely do my coat up!

My family will be horrified. My mother thinks no one should have more then 2 children. As does my sister.

I have a child with SN so i know i can expect a very negative reaction.

Dp & I are pleased. That, ultimately is all that matters.
