Bruised feeling in pelvic area?

Anybody know what it is? Cos its an aching sensation when I'm sat down, then feeling like I've been repeatedly kicked in the pelvic/pubic area. 26+6 weeks.
A friend had this when her baby was engaging, but its bloody irritating and I'm now walking like I've peed myself or with a waddle! Arghhhh!

Sounds like spd. Google it. And if that's what it is, get treatment as soon as possible. You can sometimes get physio on NHS but if often takes ages and isn't that helpful when you get it. If you can afford it, get yourself to an osteopath who knows how to treat pregnant women. Acupuncture helps with the pain too.

If it is SPD i suggest a Nexcare maternity belt! Absolute godsend with my 3rd pregnancy.. Unfortunately no amount of excercise will shift it until baba born. Speak to midwife as it sounds like SPD though. You can get the belt from mothercare or other maternity suppliers Smile
