No, I think the baby being engaged doesn't necessarily mean labour is imminent although it is one of the factors to show your body is getting ready. Some people's babies are fully engaged for weeks before labour starts. Others never get engaged at all.

I was 3/5ths with 2nd baby for weeks - she was 3 days late!

Oh well - i wont get too excited then! DD was a week late so i was just hoping that this one would be early but i guess baby will come when he's ready and not before! X
