Hi, am 34 weeks. Lost my mucus plug at 31 weeks and then at 32 weeks was admitted for preterm labour. Had positive fetal fibronectin test and had steroids and nifedipine to stop contractions. Everything has settled since then and have been on semi-bed rest.

Today I have had another show - not bloody, just like before, like mucus plug. Should I be gearing myself up for an early labour?

Have been having BHs, odd twinges and back ache etc but nothing major. Just wondering if anyone has lost mucus plug twice / had two shows. Thanks!

I was loosing mine in bits from 28wks I went into labour on my due date, and thats when I lost the bloody one. I think some people it does mean labour others it doesn't as the actual normal mucus plug can regenerate, I'd ring the ward just for some advice seen as your still preterm they might want to check the cervix for changes xx
