*TMI Alert* Pain during sex

So, a bit embarassing really (although I don't know how people think the baby got there in the first place without sex.. :D) but here goes.

I'm 24+4 and I'm having trouble finding a comfortable position for sex! I can't go on top for long as I have dodgy hips that decide to semi-dislocate themselves when I am "straddled" for too long Blush When we do normal missionary, I get really odd pains in my belly, almost like a stitch kind of pain I can't even really describe it properly! It's high up as if it's hurting my uterus?! I don't really like positions like "doggy" and stuff like that all the time as I don't find them intimate and I have some issues with that (a whooole different thread..)

I guess what I'm really asking is what the heck is this weird pain, and how can I be more comfortable during sex?! I understand that as my bump gets bigger we will have to find alternative positions.

Sorry for the rudeness and tmi of the thread! Blush

hey i had exactly the same with my partner when pg with my daughter. i am sorry to say i think its normal to get this during pregnancy. i dont really like "doggy" style either but somtimes have to as its the only way im comfy. im 13 + 4 at the mo so missionary is ok for a while. maybe try the spooning position? xx

You're probably just being squashed! I find spooning the best at the moment, minimal effort and comfortable, and intimate. Or missionary with a pile of pillows under your hips and make your DH hold himself up instead of putting weight on you.
