32w pg with first baby. The placenta is anterior, so kicks started out quite 'muffled' but he's been kicking merrily for many weeks now bladder aim almost perfected. Over the last week or so, some of the kicks have sometimes been like shudders rather than the solid ones, like three little ones in a row, almost like he's having a paddy in there. I read some weeks ago about hiccups and didn't think I would feel them due to placenta, but perhaps it's them? Or is he worried first time mum alert convulsing in there? Or is he merely perfecting his one-two-three jabs? There's plenty of other movement going on too. Please put my mind at ease! Thanks in advance :)

Oh I had this, like a shiver almost? Totally normal. No convulsions here! Congrats.

It sounds normal in my experience. Sort of like ripples...

Yeah normal. Kicks tend to turn to smaller movements, don't worry :) not much room left in there for baby!

I'm getting similar at 29 weeks. I did wonder if it feels different because baby is getting bigger so kicking rather than doing sumersaults?

Sounds like we're ok, faith. Thanks, all!
