what clothes will you be packing for your spring/summer babies?

I'm due at the very end of may and not really too sure what clothes to pack in my hospital bag for baby.

DD1 was born in march so it was still pretty cold.

What would you suggest I would need in my hospital bag for baby?

Watching with interest as due in June. So far I have bought short sleeved body suits and long sleeved sleep suits. Not sure what he will actually be wearing though!!

The same as for any time of year, it's just the outerwear that would need to change - jacket vs snowsuit, cotton hat vs woolly hat (although you are not meant to have baby in a snowsuit in a carseat)

Ahh right ok thanks, wasn't really sure as DD was obviously around 3 months in summer and we mostly had her in short rompers and sleeveless suits etc but wasn't sure for a newborn. With the summers we have I wouldn't be so shocked if they did need a snowsuit in June! ;) lol

haha, well I am buying one just in case!

I'm due early April and even so have short sleeved vests, long sleeved baby gro (with feet and scratch mits), cotton hat, fleece hat (in case too cold for cotton), cardi and then fleece car-seat blanket (goes under baby, straps of car seat feed through, then wraps over baby). Will use a cotton pram blanket if too warm for the fleece thingie. Definitely didn't want to buy a snow suit for that time of year, because although it could be nippy, it might not be at all and certainly not for long.

I'm due in May, I didn't buy a snowsuit but have bought cardigans, and fleece jackets. Last June I remember it was cold and rainy!

I'm due in April too.. Could be hot and sunny or snowing! Preparing for anything and everything.
