Ahh I'm so excited just found out!!!

just found out I'm pregnant after trying for nearly 2 years!! I thought I was for weeks, but kept getting neg tests even at the doctors last week they confirmed it was negative! Then today I thought I would test again and boom positive!! :)
Although when going by the due date calculator of 1st day of last period, it says im 7 weeks and 1 day? Surely I couldn't be that far gone with negative tests last week?
Has anyone else taken this long for a positive result?
I'm still in shock!! Can't stop smiling!

Wow, congratulations!!! I know some people on here definitely get negative results from the urine tests for quite a while and I think they have it confirmed by blood test. I'd definitely make an appointment to see the midwife (most places have booking in around 8 weeks) or with the GP as you'll want to make sure you have your 12 week scan on time if you want and are offered the nuchal screening. Keep us posted! :) x

Thank you! I tried to get it confirmed with bloods last week, but my docs said my hospital didn't do them! Think I'll call the doctors tomorrow and try and book in! I'm scared that even though I have now taken 3 tests throughout the day that it may not be real! Can't wait for a scan to confirm it all! I'm so impatient don't know how I will last 5 weeks let alone 8 months! :)

im 6 days af and had 2 negative tests. but got some lower back pain, bit bloated but no other symtoms. i really thought i was so ill do another in few days
