I'm 38+5 wks and every now and then my tummy makes a clearly audiable pop sound, like when your waters break. I rush to the toilets to check, but waters haven't broken. Its really weird and I've never heard of this happening before.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know what it is.

Llots of ladies will be along shortly to tell you this is normal, but we don't quite know what it is Grin I've seen loads of threads on this, I may have posted one myself back when I was pg with dc1, I've had it in both pregnancies, god knows what it is, but it's normal and harmless!

Happens to me when I roll over in bed at night! Might be pelvis? Don't know!!

Thankyou.

Just rather odd as it sounds and feels just like when my waters broke at the end of my last pregnancy.

Hi Nar, I've had this in both my pregnancies, started much earlier this time round and happens when baby moves, sounds like an air bubble popping. From what I've read, its fairly common but no one knows what it is!

I had this too. A lot! My OH's mum said it was baby pinching the sack, as she had the same with her daughter. But I think she just decided that one herself. Like most things tbh Grin
