Bump hurts

I'm 36 weeks and the top of my bump has been really hurting today. It's a bruise type pain, not helped by baby kicking. Anyone else had this?

Can you be more specific?

Is it like, on the skin? Or inside above the bump?

pain above the bump inside, can be liver pain which can indicate pre-eclampsia.

phone your midwife or labour ward and check with them, they won't mind at all.

Yup I have this too. Seems to hurt inside and out too.

I figured it was either where baby's feet were wedging up into the top of my to cage, or where weight/size of baby is pushing against ribcage forcing it wider. But it bloody hurts!!!

I'm 36 weeks too and yes it feels bruised to touch at the top. Think it's just because the baby's bum is at the top and stretching the skin out more making it a bit more sensitive.

Always worth getting checked out if you're worried about anything though xx
