Anyone had a membrane sweep? Did it bring on labour?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes and yes!
Had five babies but inly had sweep with this one - they seem fashionable...
Had sweep at midday - met a Gynocologist friend in hospital foyer afterwards and she said 'overdue...give it six hours' Sure enough four hours later mild to moderate pains began - midwives then did another one and labour began full blst in minutes. baby born 1.5 hours later ! good luck and it does not hurt...just a rummagy feeling!

I had one - but it didn't work. Mind you induction didn't work either (2 sets of prostaglandin pessaries.
Gave birth naturally 8 days later.

Begged for another at 10 days as petrified of induction and 24hrs dd2 arrived!
