membrane sweep

Anyone had a membrane sweep? Did it bring on labour?

no I had 3 and still was induced 40+15, in addition to this we tried, pineapple (a whole one a day) raspberry leaf tea, nipple tweaking, sex, curry, long walks.

Pineapple did it for me

I had 3 sweeps (one for each pregnany). None of them worked. Sorry.

I had one at 40+12 and went into labour early hours of 40+14. I like to think the sweep combined with a really long walk on day 13 helped me along. But who knows?

I'd definitely try it, i don't think any harm can be done.

btw my midwife told me that research showed it works for 50% of women.

I had one with ds2 and 1 hr 15 later he was in my arms!!!!
