Indigestion anyone?

27 weeks & had a 24 hour vomiting bug on Sunday, not felt right since & now seem to have developed a horrible bout of indigestion - feel like there is something stuck in my chest. Want to eat but don't want to eat for fear of uncomfortable feeling getting worse. Not sure what I am looking for, just wanted to share!

Try Gaviscon as a first port of call. Mings to high heaven, but I've been taking it daily for a few weeks now, keeps my indigestion / heartburn well away.

Thank you - had four tablets over the course of this afternoon & now on the peppermint tea!

I find the liquid works much better (even though it's disgusting!). I can literally feel it sort of coating my oesophagus, almost like the cartoons in the ads! (No, I don't work for Gaviscon!!!)
Peppermint tea does help as well I find. Hope you get some relief soon!

Stay away from milk but eat yogurt I was told by the little Indian doctor who found me naked over the toilet coughing up acid whilst periodically peeing onto the towels covering the floor.

Not a good sight but after 8 months of coughing acid up my pelvic floor gave up and I had the voice of a navy from having acid sloshing around my vocal cords I was desperate.

Dr can prescribe opramazole if you can't get relief from gaviscon or yogurt.

Oh tonic water good for it too.

Another vote for liquid Gaviscon. It really works. I've had horrendous acid reflux since about 25 weeks. It makes me gag a bit to glug it down, but as someone else said, you can feel it working quickly
