38 weeks and I'm on fire!!

Quite a dramatic title I admit but that's what it feels like!! Has anyone got any experiences of this? The last couple of days I've had horrendous hot flushes and last night didn't sleep a wink it was so bad. My midwife seems to think baby will be arriving soon and I was wondering if anyone knew if this is a "sign" or just hormones? Thanks ladies xx

Hi, don't know if it is a sign or hormones but i'm 38 weeks today and absolutely boiling, all windows open and wearing shorts. Fingers crossed it is a sign. Hopefully someone will come along soon and say it is x

Oh good to know I'm not on my own with this! It's horrible isn't it?! I hope it's a sign and we'll both have our babies soon :) xx

Tell me about it, I don't think bump can get any bigger! Ready to pop! Very glad not just me, I've always thought of her as my little internal heating system but just last two days have been ridiculous, so glad it's not summer. Good luck with getting baby soon x

Hi there- I'm 38 weeks today too and slightly different symptoms, I've been alternating between the hot flushes and cold chills, where I just can't get warm. I thought I might be getting a cold but it doesn't seem to be turning into that in any other respect, so like you I'm hoping these are signs that labour will be starting soon.. hardly dare get my hopes up though! Hi! That's what mine has been doing in the last few hours! Fingers crossed for us my baby boy is measuring big so I'm extremely uncomfortable and just want to meet him now!
