Hello
Did anyone had this done at Medway? Can you please share your opinion and experiences? I could not find any reviews online about hospital and fetal medicine clinic there? Have appointment there very soon and bit worried. Thank you all!

Hello, MIL works in the hospital and says the maternity facilities are 'very state of the art'... although that might just be compared to her experiences in the 70s!

Her neighbour just had her baby there and was very positive about the hospital.

good luck, hope all goes well for you.

You can ring the hospital and find out who will be doing the CVS, and then find out what their personal statistics are for the procedure.

If you are still worried and can afford it, then you could go private. Mr Penman was a consultant at Medway specialising in fetal medicine, but now works privately out of the Spire Alexandra in Walderslade. Costs £500 though, which I think is the same price as the Fetal Medical Centre in London.

Medway hospital supposedly has one of the best and most up to date ante and post natal care provision in the south. Really excited to be giving birth in their midwife led unit! Only a month or two to go now!
