Now I know that these are for entertainment purposes only, but they werent around back in the day and I didnt get to hear either of the Dcs heartbeats till 36 weeks! Ive just ordered this heart beat monitor on groupon for a 72% discount! Im so looking forward to playing with it! Grin
And as an added bonus, I'm going to try it out on our PG ponies as well! Grin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Are you very far along? I don't want to burst your bubble (honest!) but my cousin and her partner got one of these and it really wasn't successful sadly. It's not a doppler - basically just like a stethoscope?

I hope its great and works but don't be too worried if you don't hear much if you're still quite early on. Smile

I have found the egg shaped ones with headphones are utterly crap! All brands! (Bought about 8 different expensive types)
Have ordered a Doppler from amazon that has fantastic reviews, even from a midwife, so do look for better reviews as opposed to cheaper prices :)
Btw the one I've ordered wasn't that deer, £35

Ps, just noticed the model you have got, I've actually used this one, right up untill 38 weeks, all I heard was static, sorry x

I have the angel sounds doppler, which is v chea on amazon. I bought it second hand from a classified site for a tenner. I eats the heartbeat at 9-10 weeks. However, I've since looked up the potential risks of ultra sound and how it may distress the baby so probably won't use it again (or sparingly at least) just a word of warning.

Oh well! Its only £6.99, and just a bit of fun! Grin

Be careful it doesn't send your anxiety sky high if you don't find anything! I deliberately didn't get one because i know what I'm like...

Me again :) just to let you know the one I or from amazon is fantastic, got delivered thismorning (wasn't expectin till Monday) tried it out straight away an found baby no problem! By far the best one I've ever used! I dunno how to link stuff but if u search feral Doppler on amazon, it's the one sold by maternity matters for £35 xx
