Hi everyone!

This is my first pregnancy and up un till 2 days ago I had no morning sickness just feeling sick at certain times of the day. Then on Friday I felt really sick and vomited. On Saturday anything I ate or drank including water came back up. I'm quite weary about eating anything today as I've just had a sip of water and now feel more sick :(

Wasn't quite sure what to do so thought I'd come to see if anyone here could help me.

Rhian xx

It sounds unusual to be ms now after everything you eat and drink, sounds more like the noro virus to me? Has anyone else you know been ill?

Hi thanks for your reply. I don't think it's that, no one I know has been ill and I haven't had any diarrhoea.

Could be either...try having an ice lolly? When my sickness was bad, I found ice lollies sat more gently on my stomach and I had a window where I could eat afterwards. I know it's cold (my sickness was bad in August!) but it's worth a try. If its still a problem tomorrow of ring your midwife. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the advice. Went to a+e in the end and it turns out the sickness started from a urine infection. Which then went on to cause me to be dehydrated. The nurses said I was as dry as a bone and my blood was too thick to take any when I first got there. Took me an hour and a half to produce a tiny bit of wee as they wouldn't go ahead un till I had! Now I'm hooked up to a drip but still vomiting, not as regularly though! X
