When are you binning your underwired bras?

I'm 14+5 with rapidly swelling boozies. Would love to know what you're all doing...

I started too soon with ds1 and spent a small fortune as they kept on growing. They all went in the bin tho as they were chewing gum afterwards.

Ah, was going to offer you my (hardly worn) Hotmilk ones if you were my size but alas I was 'only' a FF cup when BF Grin

Thanks dedevil. That's a really nice offer, darn it, I'm glad they aren't growing anymore though :)

When hell freezes over!

Never...unless they become uncomfortable (they didn't last time around)

purrpurr · 27/01/2013 17:42

I can't wear underwired bras because they make my heartburn excruciating.

... This is normal, right?

I'm surprised so many women can continue to wear underwired bras with no problems, now questioning whether what I'm suffering from is heartburn. Hmm.

I love my Anita underwired maternity/nursing bras from figleaves. Pricey but really worth it. Wait for a 20% off deal, they have them every so often.

I've caved and bought a couple of non wired ones for sheer comfort and then an exy one with wires!

I too suffered from heartburn with ds and so fully expecting it again hence going for an underwired option.

36D up from a 34B and I'm 15 weeks. Hoping that this is the one and only growth spurt!!

Purrpurr - I can't say whether it's heartburn or not, but if the discomfort goes away when you wear non-underwired I don't think it's anything to worry about. I suppose everyone is different and some women just don't have problems with underwires when pregnant...I didn't with my last pregnancy but maybe I will with this one - so far so good - but things change sometimes.

LittleMilla · 28/01/2013 19:40

Purrpurr, it probably has NO link to heartburn but as I mentioned, I suffered big time with ds. He was also a bugger re getting up under my ribs and it turns out he was breech all along!

So I had ELCS at 10 days overdue! It probably helps explain my fiercely uncomfortable pg and why I needed comfy bras. Saying that, I'm only 5ft 1 and so there's never going to be much room for a baby in me!
