iPhone apps to hear your baby's heartbeat

A while back, someone posted about iPhone apps that let you hear your baby's heartbeat. Well after not feeling the baby move regularly for the past 2-3 days, I decided to download one and give it a try.

I downloaded Baby scope app and it worked! I was able to hear her heartbeat twice so for, but it was pretty faint.
Has anyone else been able to hear their baby's heartbeat with their iPhone?

Oh my God, I want to get this! I am only 12 weeks, I guess it wouldn't work that early would it?

I wouldn't do it, even midwives don't listen to the heartbeat anymore. There's also a chance you'll wind up listening to your own heartbeat through the placenta as you are not trained to find it properly, or you won't be able to find it and panic unnecessarily.

If you feel movements have reduced, the correct course of action is to phone the hospital and go in for proper monitoring.

Get it for a bit of fun by all means, but as giraffe said, don't rely on it too much!

P.s. OP - if you still have reduced movements, call your midwife!!

You can't rely on it! It is just an iPhone app! but, it's brilliant and works great so, for fun it's worth it :-)
