Morning sickness has returned - WTF???!

I am 29 weeks pregnant. I finally stopped throwing up everyday at around 23 weeks, although the worst was between 6 and 11 weeks. However, in the last few days I have started being sick in the mornings again, with the same hideous nausea till around lunchtime. In the intervening 6 vomit free weeks I have had a horrendous chest infection requiring three courses of antibiotics and two courses of steroids. I was just starting to feel well! Why????!!!!!

Has anyone else had this and is it likely to continue till the birth? (please say no?)

I had this at 27 weeks, when I brought it up at my midwife appointment she said it was completely normal due to a surge of hormones. It lasted a week or two and then disappeared! Hope it clears up soon x

Hi I am 28 weeks and my Nausea hasn't gone. Still taking cyclazine, which is stopping me from actually being sick. I have been warned that nausea can get bad again towards the end of pregnancy, but everyone is different, so there is some hope. Hope you feel better soon.

Ahh poor you. I thought the omneprazole was a cure all for my heartburn, and it was for about 2 weeks. My indigestion has come back, but without the heartburn. I've realised I'm going to have to suck it up. Am 24 weeks pregnant. But just think (and this is how I'm getting through it) when the baby arrives we are less likely to get PND, that's my reasoning anyway because with DD1 I felt so relieved to be able to eat normally I was able to get over the hormonal post baby stuff.

Of course that's not based on anything medical - just how I felt!
