1st pregnancy, 5 weeks just discovered vaginal discharge - advice please :(

:( Sorry for TMI but I am worried as after wiping I noticed a small blob of light brown vaginal discharge the type before or after a period. Is this a sign of mc please? Thank you in advance

i had this at 4ish weeks just before bfp. pretty sure it was implantation bleeding. if it doesnt get heavier try not to worry x

Thank you Christelle2207 trying not to worry too much (bit hard) but wonder if it is too late for implantation bleeding as I am about 5 wks +3 Thanks again.

I had this at 6+ weeks, got sent to the Early Pregnancy unit for a scan, saw a heartbeat and everything was fine. Brown blood is old blood too, if it were fresh red blood it would be more of a worry, but still could be ok.

I've never had any bleeding during pregnancy so can't speak from experience but as I understand it a little bit of brown isn't concerning. It's bright red blood that needs urgent checking. Do call your local midwife/NHSdirect for reassurance if you need it though!
