I've got my holiday booked during the easter holidays and I think I'll be around 20 weeks at the time. I was just wondering how much I will show by then, I really wanna get my holiday shopping out of the way but I have no idea how big I'll be :S does anyone have any suggestions?

It varies. I had a reasonable sized bump then with DD. Others can be barely noticeable.

I was just moving into maternity clothes then but I was a bit of a gym bunny and my stomach muscles held up really well. Very skinny people tend to show earlier too

I am not very skinny I mean (size 12)

I'm 18+6 and have a definite bump now. But I can still fit in most of my normal clothes if I use bump bands to keep my trousers done up/ stop belly from flashing under t shirts etc. where are you going? What will the temperature be like? X

I was ginormous by then! It's hard to say with different people I guess. I was a 12 but a short 12 with a tendency to blob Grin

I'm 23+2 and very tiny (with low BMI) and I've just been enormous! There's been no way to disguise it for weeks and weeks. With my friend, of average, healthier size, you could just about start to tell around 20wks. So really depends on your height/BMI I think.

Size 8/10 here and had a v. Small bump at 20 weeks. No need for maternity stuff until about 6 months!

Eletheomel · 19/01/2013 09:18

I have just moved into maternity stuff and I'm 22 weeks on Tuesday. I went abroad when I was 24-25 weeks and I did take maternity stuff with me (but I was bigger then than I am now)
I wore my normal bikinis though (with a big bump in between!) and there were other non-maternity clothes that were absolutely fine that I took with me.

It totally depends on each person and each pregnancy (you can show different with each one).

It was really hot where we were (high 90's) so I appreciated the extra material in my maternity stuff as it helped cool me down!
