Ok so I got woken up with a pain in my tummy this morning at 3.45am, went to the toilet as I just thought I just needed a wee (so far at 16weeks Iv avoided having to get up in the night, think I have a cast iron bladder) that didn't get rid of the pain so I got back in bed an started to worry (as you do) and obviously thought the worse until I let out a huge fart Blush and the pain instantly disappeared (thankfully DH was asleep lol) Grin I can laugh about it now but I was quite worried at the time.

Just wondered if any of you ladies have had any similar experiences/funny stories to share??

This happens to me ALL the time. Most recently in the middle of yoga class, amid all the quiet, ohmmmming, relaxation and deep breathing. I'm pretty sure everyone could SMELL it but they kindly pretended they didn't notice it!

Charming!

I was in absolute agony one night with stomach cramps - I kind of knew it was that instead of anything to do with baby but after 90mins I was seriously starting to think I'd gone into early labour - I was rolling about on the bed, sweat on my forehead, feeling like I was going to pass out and groaning with DP hovering over me saying that we should really go to hospital. Then I did 2 of the biggest poos (sorry TMI!) I have ever done in my entire life and felt absolutely fine Blush. I guess we now know why babies scream so much when they've got colic, poor wee mites.
