34+3 -- baby's wriggling, I'm throwing up, what's going on?

Just as I was congratulating myself on not having thrown up for a whole five weeks (longest I've gone during this entire pregnancy) I suddenly don't seem to be able to keep anything down again. The baby's having a more wriggly day than usual too -- not crazy kicking, but kind of squirmy in a way that is not very comfortable for me! Anyone else experienced this?

I had severe morning sickness until 16 wks approx. Then it has come and gone throughout the whole pregnancy. I think that unfortunately that is just what happens with some. Like you I seem to have a few weeks of being fine and then out of the blue it starts up again. I'm 35 wks now and get awful upset tummy with it as well, but know it is my hormones, as this also happened in my last pregnancy.

Hope it doesn't last too long for you this time and remember it is nearly over. It goes as soon as the baby is born.

If you are at all concerned about babys movements then ring the day assessment unit, who will often bring you in to do a trace of babys movements. Only you know what is normal movement for your baby, so if it doesn't feel 'normal' get it checked.
