First time pregnancy :)

hi all!

Well ive just been confirmed as pregnant after 4 home kits of positive and a blood test! :) my appt is next week to visit my midwife and roughly find out how far i am...
A couple of questions to anyone who can help please. My doctor said im roughly 4 -5 weeks. Its all new and very exciting, but i still have cramps? like period cramps not painful or bad just niggles here and there? is this normal?
Im worrying myself silly over this.

Any reassurance or similar advice would be wonderful. X

Sounds like implantation cramps which are normal.

Try and relax, there's plenty of time to get in a tizz! Easy done I know. Try not to google and enjoy this bit before the symptoms start!

i know, born worrier :) extremely happy. Only symptoms i have is dizzyness at the moments sore breasts etc..being so early it dosent feel like i am yet. Just bloated a little?
Thats why i joined here, i dont want to read horrors on the web chat to women with similar things :D feel so much better.

yes it sound' normal i had the same with my 3 sound's like implantation pain' mine's lasted for around 6 week's ! sound's normal so relax and enjoy

Hi Looby222 - I just found out yesterday I'm pregnant too!!! (via home kits)... i'm about 5 wks along from the day of my last period. I've been getting these weird cramps too..SO glad someone else has posted the very same question I was about to ask!! xx

i had some really quite bad cramps early on, this is my first pregnancy and im at 20w4days now, had scan yesterday and were having a healthy baby girl, im like you, constantly worrying, best thing to do is ring midwife if pain is very bad, but any niggling questions just ask mumsnet, trust me google is horrible! congrats.

Thank you guys! ive seemed to figure out they come about in the evening so im trying to figure out the pattern :) Thing is i have to wait till Weds the 23rd For my first appt with the midwife due to work i couldnt swap my shift.. so im finding it frustrating not knowing very much at all, at the moment. Just the reassurance and knowing where im at and ill be fine! Congrats to you both also :) Im hoping your as excited about everything as me! take care ladies Xx
