Help - painful indigestion?

I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby and for the past two days have been suffering with waves of pain underneath my ribs. I went to the hospital yesterday who monitored me and the baby is doing really well so nothing to worry about there . . . but the pain keeps coming back (worse at night time - isn't it always?!). I wonder whether it's down to indigestion? Has anyone had indigestion (so painful it makes you wince), that isn't a burning sensation, but is more of a tightening across your body? I don't want to keep going to the doctors for indigestion but am worried they missed something yesterday. Baby is still moving about quite happily.

Hmmm I get indigestion but not like that - am 23 weeks pg with no 2 though so not quite in 3rd tri as you are. Could these be Braxton Hicks? Sure someone else will know?

Thanks CareerGirl01, I did wonder whether they are Braxton Hicks but they've been painful and have lasted two days now (from my limited understanding BH tends to be discomfort and will taper off?).
