Just thought I would let everyone know if you didn't alredy that Huggies nappies will soon no longer be on sale in the UK.

We used them for dc1 but probably wont start using them when dc2 arrives as we know we soon wont be able to get them in shops.

They are gping to carry on selling their wipes, pull ups and swim nappies though.

Huggies make Tesco & Asda's own brand nappies so don't panic just use those!!

Wheels79 · 15/01/2013 06:47

Thanks for the tip deathmetalmum. I bought some for expected baby (on offer) but will get some pampers too.

podgymumma - I read that they've closed European factories including UK so I wonder if Tesco and Asda will need to change suppliers.

I've also heard that as a result we can expect the number of offers on nappies to go up as a result of lack of competition so stock up to avoid paying 25% more for your nappies soon!

As no what a shame I love Huggies nappies. Hate pampers I think they're just crap. Ill have to get a few boxes from makro! Do u know when they're planning on stopping? X

DeathMetalMum · 15/01/2013 09:44

Check the website for when exactly they are stopping it was announced a while ago, I had emails from them and a few others when they had announced it.

I think it said they would no longer be making then in Europe from 2013 and expect to no longer be able to get them in shops from around March.
