Hand foot & mouth

I had visitors today and just was told they had hand foot & mouth.. They seemed really well & had it a week ago.

I didn't think it was a problem but I have family members now telling me to call drs.

Anyone know how contagious it is, should I be concerned?

I'm 35 wks at the moment also have a toddler that was home

Hi, I'm a nursery teacher and had similar panic when 22 weeks and talking to a parent who then told me she and daughter both had it! Nobody thought to make me aware. I checked with the first aid guidelines for pregnancy and it wasn't a problem, can't affect baby if it is caught and is difficult to catch anyway. Nobody else caught it. So rest easy :)

Great thanks. I have been walking around with dettol spray! They were only here half an hour and they weren't even sneezing and coughing so hopefully I'm ok.
