spotting after abdominal scan at 8 weeks +

Hello,

I had an abdominal scan and I am just over 8 weeks. Got home and found some brown spotting, now I have pinkish CM.
At scan we saw a strong heartbeat and were told that everything looks good for this stage. It looks like that the spotting is tapering off, although I am not sure. Should I contact my maternity unit or GP? Anyone had this by any chance and still baby was OK?

I had a bit of bleeding at a similar point in my second pg. I had a m/w appointment not long after and she said she was sure it was nothing to worry about and it is quite common. All was well with my subsequent pregnancy and ensuing baby!

Worth mentioning, but try not to worry - easy for me to say!
