Hi all,

I found out this week that I am expecting dc3. Big shock, but I am now totally thrilled but also v worried.

With both of my others I had terrible sickness. Felt nauseous all of the time, and was sick about 4 times a day. This time I have very mild nausea which comes and goes, but is nothing like as bad as either of my previous pregnancies. Food does taste a bit odd, and I am off my food a bit, but not much.

I do have tender boobs and am tired beyond belief, but have had a tiny amount of brown spotting so am really concerned about miscarriage.

Has anyone had terrible sickness during some pregnancies and hardly any in others? Can't help fearing the worst.

Ds1 no nausea no sickness, not much of anything apart from weein a lot and hot flushes and tiredness. Ds2 nausea, migraines, tiredness, loss of appetite, lost a lot of weight. This pregnancy I've been sick had nausea, extreme exhaustion, migraines, passing out, gone off food etc etc.

Every pregnancy is different, our bodys react differently to the hormones not just woman to woman but each pregnancy with the same woman can be totally different. Some women never have any symptoms at all. And there is plenty of time yet to get symptoms, mine started around 5wks but have faded a lot now at 10+4. Some people don't get them till over 8wks and carry on longer. I wouldn't worry, congratulations :-) xx
